Hello again! And welcome to my monthly post where I gush about my top 3 favorite products I’ve tried recently. Oh my goodness. I freaking love these three things I tried last month (of course I tried other things too, but these three things rose quickly to the top!). Holy Grail, these will be in my rotation for at least the rest of this year. I love them so much that I’ve even written a mini-review about two of them here on the site. I will link them below. The third I probably will do a mini review of at some point because it is THAT good. So without further ado here are my three January Beauty Favorites.
The Primrose Corner paid for these products with our own money. This is an impartial, unbiased, non-sponsored review (Yay!). This post does however, contain affiliate links. For more information please refer to our DISCLOSURES policy. Thanks!
I love this palette. The colors are gorgeous and blend so smoothly. I was afraid I wouldn’t like it but I’m so glad I took the plunge and spent the money because it has become my go-to eyeshadow palette. I reach for it over my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and my Naked 3 Palette which is a pretty big deal. I won’t go into too much more detail since I already gushed about this palette here and left some great YouTube links for a few looks using the eye shadows so go check it out if you’re interested.
Another item that quickly became a favorite; the Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patches are amazing. They are tiny little hyrdocolloid bandanges that you place over an acne bump and it helps draw out the oil and grossness contained therein. I love these so much I just bought four more packs to make sure I never run out. They are so affordable too which is another huge plus. For more information read my full review here.
Winter. It came. And it sucked all of the moisture out of my skin. I don’t know how it’s possible for skin to be dry AND oily at the same time (so unfair) but that is the situation my skin has been in this season. My other moisturizers just weren’t cutting it. So on a whim I picked up this cream on Amazon since I know green tea type products tend to do well with sensitive skin and aren’t too harsh on the oily prone. The texture of this moisturizer feels light but so luxuriously creamy at the same time. When I put it on ,my skin feels so hydrated and happy. I like to apply it right before bed and when I wake up in the morning my face looks hydrated and “plumped” not puffy but just younger, softer and more dewy. I definitely recommend you check this moisturizing cream out if you struggle with both dry and oily skin.
And that’s it for this month! Stay tuned for February’s favorites. What are some of your favorite products you’ve tried out so far this year? I’d love to see what everyone is testing out!
